About Us

Third Space for Kids was created by a local parent and teacher (and lawyer in my previous life) who saw a need for cognitive focused playtime. I believe that thoughtfully chosen activities can balance between play and skills-building. I wanted a place where my own daughter has the freedom to play, but also has a meaningful, curated experience. As a parent, I want the option to join in, have a coffee, or bring my laptop knowing that my child is learning while having fun. I also don’t have the space for her to have a myriad of activities that I want for her in our house.

Adults have coffee shops where they can relax and connect with others. I believe kids deserve their own version of that: a safe, engaging space where they can play, relax, and grow with friends.
